Wanted: Cruise Director !!!

We have now confirmed Mia's maximum time period to live aboard and cruise.  Although we have boated together for 16+ years, looked forward to an actual winter cruise south after retirement and planned this specific trip for 2 years, stocked the boat, forwarded the mail, and turned off the water at home...she left this morning with the "Girls" in a rental car for  Holly Springs.  No big argument, just had to get off the boat and back "home".....

32 Days, 10 Hours, 15 Min.....Just in case you were wondering.

The blogs may be less frequent and intertaining, but I'll do my best to keep them coming.  Alchemy will  be heading back soon.  Apologies to friends who we will not be seeing on the way North.

  1. Oh, no - you'll have to mix your own margaritas... ;) I think 32 days is pretty good for a first (?) long trip! Maybe you can work towards two months next time?? Take care, enjoy the sunshine and the peace and keep in touch, please, Captain Dave! :) big hugs!

  2. Well Damn, Me thinks you should put a help wanted sign "Cruise Director wanted" no experience needed on the stern, bow, port and Stb.'d side.
Best of luck and travel safe

Sorry to hear that you cut the trip short. At least we will have our friends back home before plan. See you soon.

  8. Bummer, sometimes the good old college try just doesn't create the additude needed, and something's got to give. We look forward to hanging out with both of you back in New Bern.

  10. Yes, hi, I'm interested in the Cruise Director position. Is this still available? A job description would be helpful, but I suspect I'm very capable. I have a resume if that helps and would be happy to schedule an interview at your earliest convenience.

P.S. I promise to practice some songs in advance that would work well with a guitar soloist. And I just got this new handy app called Magic Piano that we could practice chops stick on. Does this scor me any bonus points?
