Nombre de Dios mission

Saint Augustine is the site of the first Christian mission established in what is now the United States. The original landing site is beautiful and open to the public and there are archaeological findings of early churches and graves. As you approach town from the ICW or from the ocean, this giant cross is visible for miles.
